Banjo the barn owl, with feathers so white,
Hunts in the darkness, all through the night.
With wings that are silent, he swoops and he soars,
And catches his prey with sharp talons and claws.
His eyes are like jewels, so bright and so round,
And his heart beats so fast, with each swoop to the ground.
He’s a master of flight, with a grace all his own,
And he’s never been seen, when he’s hunting alone.
Banjo the barn owl, with his feathers so fine,
Is a creature of beauty, both fierce and divine.
So if you should see him, in the light of the moon,
Just remember his beauty, and his haunting tune.
